On Saturday, February 22, 2020, The Global Afrique Welfare Foundation Team attended an Award Night event organized by PR Times Africa at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Maitama, Abuja.
Global Afrique Welfare Foundation Team is comprised of Mr. Mahmud Abdul Akeem (Founder/President), Mr. Adewale Abbas Busari (Director, Finance and Operations), Mr. Kehinde Fagade (Advocacy and Communication Officer), and Mr Daniel Omeije (Programme Officer).
The Event, Tagged “ CSR Awards 2019, A Celebration of Africa” was organized by the Media Outfit to give a special recognition to all sectors of the economy especially those that have demonstrated outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in their establishments and have given back to the society. Special Recognition were given to some selected Embassies, Banking, Hospitality, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and others. Special recognition went to Global Afrique Welfare Foundation for its Rapid Response to emergencies and other well-organized programs.
PR Times Africa is a media organization aimed at positively shaping perception about the continent, by highlighting the positive strides being made by Africans in several field of endeavor in line with the SDGs goals using PR, Print, Video and Audio.
